Led by physical therapist and long time yoga, movement and fascia release teacher, Ariele Foster, we will get into all of the nooks and crannies of your hips, quads, calves and feet over the course of 60 minutes.
Fascia Reset: Lower Body is an hour long guided self massage experience to help you in recovering tired feet, calves, quads, hips, shin splits, quads, hips and hammies. We will have a little extra time for q+a at the end with instructor Doctor of Physical Therapy, Ariele Foster.
A soft tennis ball or ideally two in a sock OR a nice (ideally soft) myofascial release ball. Our favorite are the Recovery Rounds and green Duos from RAD Roller.
It will also be useful to have a few yoga blocks or firm bolsters / pillows nearby.
If you own fun self massage tools like Miracle Balls, a Back Buddy, a foam roller, a RAD Helix, or vibration-based massage gun, you are also welcome to have those on hand.
Yes, those who register will get access to the replay for 7 days afterward.
If you cannot attend live, but want access to the replay, please register for the class.
You will be sent a Zoom link to join class, so please have the latest version of Zoom downloaded / updated before class starts.
No need to have a camera on at all! However, if you have questions for the instructor, or would like feedback, having your camera on could help make the class more useful to you.
Yes. Ariele is qualified to offer continuing education credits for Yoga Alliance, and will be happy to make a certificate for anyone who asks and attends the whole session or on honor system watches the replay. Physical Therapy and other licensing course accreditation is more complex and state by state in the United States. We can still issue those who are present a certificate, but whether it will be counted as continuing education credits is unique to your circumstances.
